聚乳酸-羟基乙酸共聚物(PLGA)是由两种单体—乳酸和羟基乙酸无规共聚得到的一种可降解的功能高分子有机化合物,PLGA无毒,具有良好的成囊性和成膜性能,良好的生物相容性和生物降解性,且降解速度可控,可用于制药、医用工程材料和现代化工业领域,包括用于生产药物缓释微球、骨修复材料、骨固定材料、支架材料、伤口缝合线、皮肤移植物、口腔种植体、人工导管等,是一类重要的生物医用高分子材料。
PLGA的降解产物同时也是人代谢途径的副产物,因此PLGA微球可作为蛋白质、酶类药物的载体测试药物,将药物或生物/化学实体附着到颗粒表面来控释、缓释和靶向给药。
